In the last week of June, a training school for doctoral students and young researchers was held at the Technical University George Agricola, dedicated to good practices in reclamation and remediation. Participants took virtual tours of most European countries, examining various cases and solutions. The practical part included visits to three former coal mines transformed into a museum, a nature park and a cultural space for events. In addition, participants solved practical tasks with QGIS and Google Earth Engine, and finally, the capabilities of the drones available at the university were demonstrated.
